The other day I was walking down the street and I noticed someone coming my direction wearing one of my Advice from an Owl tee-shirts.  It made me smile inside.  I love the nature inspired message the Owl tee-shirt offers.  “Stay focused.  Be ‘hoo’ you are.  Trust in a wise friend.  Live off the land.  Glide through the dark times.  Be observant.  Life is a hoot!”  Don’t you think the owl offers sage advice?Nature has a way of teaching us everything we need to know.  Taking the time to notice and absorb the messages that nature tries to offer is often the trick.  I recently faced a few minor ‘dark times’ and noticed that the more I just glided through them without fussing or fighting the process too much, the easier it became to come through smiling on the other side.  We all face tough situations.  Health issues.  Family concerns.  Cranky friends.  Business challenges.  Personal problems.  These are all facts of life.  Glide on through.  Observe how you are feeling.  Be ‘hoo’ you are and trust in advice from wise friends to help guide you through the process.  Before you know it, you will be past the darkness and back in the light.  I think we can get hung up on the dark times and rather than gliding through we begin going around and around in circles.  Doesn’t gliding through sound easier and more productive?  Granted, some problems are serious and need our focused attention.  In those cases, some circling to attend to the problem is definitely needed and called for.  Most times, we let ourselves get tangled up by problems that would be better solved by gliding on through.  Just look down from the owl’s perspective and take in the big picture next time you face a problem.  You may find that you can glide right through the dark times back into the light with less struggle than before.  For more nature-inspired advice, check out our complete line of custom made tee-shirts.  Perhaps one will speak directly to your true nature.
