The Path to Your True Nature

rock pilesImagine you are hiking and suddenly you lose sight of the trail. You are unsure how to proceed. You are searching for signs of the path and you notice a small formation of carefully stacked rocks on the ground a few feet in front of you. These carefully stacked rock piles are known in the hiking world as cairns. As soon as you reach the first cairn, you spy another rock formation just ahead. These two little rock piles allow you to breathe a sigh of relief. You know you are headed in the right direction.Whenever I come across a cairn out in nature, I am filled with the sense of gratitude and awe. For as long as people have roamed the planet, cairns have been created by those who came before - to mark the path for those who follow. Cairns are symbols of safety and hope. They are built in the spirit of friendship and encouragement. For a moment, imagine that you are on the path to finding your true nature. Where can you turn when you are feeling a bit lost? What signs let you know that that you are on the right path? Who helps you feel absolutely authentic as you progress on your personal journey? These are just a few questions to ponder as you move forward on the quest for Your True Nature. One thing that many people find helpful is to surround themselves with positive messages. Another effective strategy is to journal every day. Your True Nature offers many nature-inspired stationery products, poetry books, posters and journals to help us stay on course. The journey inward is by far the most challenging but there will always be cairns, real or metaphorical, to help us on our way. Happy Travels!
